A Church with a Heart ... In the Heart of the City
|
Ingleside United Methodist Church Psalm 105:5 "Remember the wonders (God) has done."
January 30, 2007 brought a fire to our sanctuary building in the early morning hours. The neighbors across the street called the fire department
and opened up their home to our congregation
who came to witness the heroic efforts of the Baton Rouge Fire Department to put out the blaze and to save the Fellowship Hall. We thank the Baton Rouge Fire Department and our neighbors for their support !
Isaiah 61:3
"... to console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil for joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;
that they may be called trees of righteousness,The planting of the Lord,
that He may be glorified. " August 15, saw the congregation of Ingleside United Methodist Church enjoy Worship in their New Sanctuary
